The first form of solid chocolate was invented in Turin.

Daniel Peter experiments with adding milk to chocolate, and brings it to market. He was assisted in the process by Henri Nestlé.

1925

Chocolate can now be bought and sold at the New York Cocoa Exchange, located at the World Trade Center.
